Police Are Still Investigating The Case Of Hoarding Cooking Oil In Lebak Banten
LEBAK – The Lebak Police Satreskrim are still searching for additional evidence in the case of hoarding cooking oil in a house on Petir Street, Cempaka Village, Warunggunung District, Lebak Regency, Banten.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Grand Commissioner Pol. Shinto Silitonga, said that until now investigators have not determined the status of a suspect against MK (31), the alleged perpetrator of hoarding cooking oil who was raided on Friday, February 25.
"Regarding the development of the cooking oil hoarding case at Warunggung Lebak, until now the investigators of the Lebak Police Satreskrim have not determined the status of a suspect against MK, because according to the procedures in the criminal procedural law, evidence needs to be met first by investigators to be presented in a case title," Shinto explained, via text message, Monday 28 February, evening.

To fulfill the evidence, Shinto continued, investigators have requested an examination of experts from the Banten Province Industry and Trade Agency to determine the fulfillment of the elements of the Articles in the Trade Law.
"Investigators will conduct an examination of expert witnesses to determine the fulfillment of the elements of the article. Investigators also already know the identity of the source of the goods distributed to the Constitutional Court and will be summoned for a request for information this week," added Shinto.
Not only that, but investigators have also examined the driver of the tronton truck, transporting cooking oil.
Shinto ensured that after his party received expert testimony, investigators would conduct a case title to determine the determination of the suspect.
Shinto said, evidence of cooking oil is still being confiscated by the officers. "The status of 24 tons of cooking oil is still being confiscated by investigators from the Lebak Police Satreskrim," concluded Shinto.
