'Beauty And The Beast' Prequel Series Production Has Been Canceled After Releasing The Cast List
JAKARTA - A few days after the announcement of the cast, the prequel series of Beauty and the Beast was officially canceled by Disney+. Initially, the series was planned to start production this year in the UK.
According to Deadline, this production was discontinued due to several reasons, namely the original script and music that did not meet the schedule and expectations.
Alan Menken, the composer who worked on the music for Beauty and the Beast 1991 and 2017 was also appointed to produce the film's soundtrack.
In addition, the weather and the players' busy schedule made it even more difficult to produce Beauty and the Beast according to the timeline.
