COVID-19 In Jakarta Is Crazy, Polda Metro Actually Removes The Crowd Free Night Scheme
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police has decided to abolish the implementation of Crowd Free Night (CFN) even though the number of COVID-19 spreads, especially in Jakarta, is crazy. The deletion was carried out on February 5.
"Regarding the implementation of the Crowd Free Night which came into effect on the 5th, starting today we will eliminate the 10 points that have been held", said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes E. Zulpan, to reporters on Tuesday, February 8.
One of the reasons for the abolition of the CFN scheme in breaking up crowds is because the community is considered to have been disciplined in implementing health protocols. Thus, there is no need to apply the scheme anymore.
"We do this considering that the community has also begun to be disciplined, so we take more gentle steps", said Zulpan.
However, Metro Jaya Police will take other steps. Such as holding patrols while educating the public regularly.
