Logistics Of The 2022 Mandalika MotoGP Pre-season Test Arrives In Lombok 7-8 February
JAKARTA – The logistics of the MotoGP team used for the 2022 pre-season test at the Mandalika Circuit will arrive on February 7-8 2022. However, the schedule for the arrival of the crew and riders has yet to be announced.
Public Relations Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Lombok Airport Branch Office, Arif Haryanto, said that the number of logistics for the pre-season test was far more than the World Superbike (WSBK) event some time ago.
"For the logistics of the Mandalika MotoGP pre-season test, it will arrive on February 7 and 8 using a cargo plane", Arif said as quoted by Antara.
The Mandalika Circuit will host the MotoGP pre-season test on February 11-13 before holding the race on March 18-20.
Arif ensured that the party had prepared a flow of inspections for the arrival of crew and drivers for the test. "The airport development facility to support the MotoGP event has been completed and is ready to be used", he said.
Meanwhile, the crew and drivers went straight to the inspection room after they arrived in Banda Lombok and got off the plane. The results of the inspection will determine the next process.
If the crew and drivers are declared healthy then they can go directly to the next process. However, if they are declared unwell they will be directed to the hospital.

“After that, they took the luggage and went through customs inspection. Then they come out and are taken to the hotel using the shuttle bus that has been prepared at the arrivals terminal", said Arif.
The Mandalika MotoGP series is one of two additional series this season with Finland. There will be a total of 21 races this season, starting with the first series in Qatar which starts on March 6.
