Sassuolo Vs Cagliari: Harroui Sends Neroverdi To Coppa Italia Quarter-finals Against Juve
JAKARTA - Abdou Harroui's only goal against Cagliari on Thursday morning sent Sassuolo to the Coppa Italia quarter-finals to face Juventus.
Sassuolo were unable to field Domenico Berardi due to COVID-19, as were Junior Hamed Traore and Matheus Henrique. On the other hand, many Cagliari players cannot play due to injury, COVID-19, while Charalampos Lykogiannis is absent due to stomach pain.
However, it was Cagliari who came close to scoring the opener when Dalbert's header which saw Gabriele Zappa's cross crossed just wide of goal.
Moments later Rogerio's cross from the left crossed Scamacca for a volley from close range by Abdou Harroui to put the hosts 1-0 up.

Cagliari twice put the ball into the opponent's goal but both were disallowed. First, they scored after Dalbert grabbed the ball after capitalizing on a poor clearance in anticipation of a corner. But the goal was disallowed for offside.
Cagliari hit the net again when Pavoletti stuck his long leg in front of his marker to volley home from close range, but the goal was also ruled out for Nahitan Nandez's shoulder was offside.
