A Flock Of Dolphins Stranded On The Padang Galak Beach, Bali
DENPASAR - A herd of Risso dolphins or the type of glamps griseus was stranded around Padang Galak Beach, Denpasar, Bali. There were 4 dolphins stranded.
Head of the Denpasar Coastal and Marine Resources Management Center (BPSPL), Permana Yudiarso, said that initially one dolphin was stranded on Wednesday, January 12 afternoon. Meanwhile, on this day 4 dolphins were seen on Padang Galak Beach.
"It turned out that this afternoon there was a viral video of fishermen pulling dolphins on Padang Galak Beach. We checked there were four and one seemed sick and stranded", said Yudiarso, Thursday, January 13.

Currently, one dolphin that has been stranded is being pushed into the sea so as not to be stranded. Meanwhile, other herds are still around the beach.
"We are trying to push it, we push it into the sea, we prevent it from being stranded. When he is pushed, there are still those who are stranded and want to go to the sea, it's a sign that they want to die, usually, their behavior is like that", said Yudiarso.
