Comedian Bob Saget Dies At Hotel

JAKARTA - Comedian, and actor Bob Saget died on Sunday, January 9, United States time in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando.

Orange County Police announced they had a call from the hotel to find a man who was not responding.

"The man was identified as Robert Saget and pronounced dead at the scene," Orange County Police said on social media.

According to reports, they did not find any drug or other use. Currently, the police have not stated the reason for Bob Saget's death.

Moments later, Bob Saget's family released a statement of condolences to the actor. "He (Bob Saget) is everything to us and we want you to know how much he is loved by his fans, performing and making people laugh," the Saget family said in a statement.

"While we ask for privacy in this situation, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world."

The day before, Bob Saget performed at The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Palm Valley, Florida. He even had time to tweet thank you to fans and remind the comedy tour that started in 2022.

Actor and comedian Bob Saget was born on May 17, 1956. He is best known for the sitcom Full House which ran from 1987 to 1995 on ABC. Then, he returned to play Danny tanner through Fuller House on Netflix.

Bob Saget also directed his first film, Dirty Work in 1998. He has also starred in a number of hit series titles, including Raising Dad, How I Met Your Mother, Entourage, and Law & Order.

Bob Saget died at the age of 65.
