3 Confessions Of Abdel Achrian Using Meth When He Was A Host

JAKARTA - The comedian Abdel Achrian is known as the host of Mamah and Aa's da'wah program on a local television station. In the event, Abdel accompanied Mamah Dedeh in discussing the issue of Islam in society.

After investigation, Abdel admitted to using methamphetamine while guiding the program. Here are Abdel Achrian's three honest confessions about taking drugs.

Admit it bluntly

Abdel admitted that he had used drugs from 1994 to 2000, but when he was a show host, he also used methamphetamine. Mamah Dedeh even knew about this action.

"At that time there was still methamphetamine. That's why Mamah Dedeh really hated me, 'I am accompanied by people like this," Abdel said on the Vincent and Desta channel.

Trying to Change

Mamah Dedeh was also influential in Abdel's decision to stop using drugs. According to him, on several occasions, Mamah Dedeh often insinuated Abdel not to consume illicit goods.

"I don't think she ever said that either, but I can tell from her language that she knows I did that," said Abdel.

Choosing a Project

Abdel also remembered one piece of advice from Mamah Dedeh in the middle of shooting a joint event. He said that he was asked to look for soap opera projects that reflected this da'wah program.

“For example, (Mamah Dedeh said), 'Del you should look for soap operas that are not like that, there were still sexy girls at that time. You're hosting an event like this, your treatment must reflect this event,'" said Abdel.
