Omicron Cases In US Rise, Lupita Nyong'o Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - Actress Lupita Nyong’o is the latest public figure to announce that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Through her social media accounts, she shared this unpleasant news with fans.
"I also tested positive for COVID-19. I've been vaccinated and kept myself in quarantine. I believe I will be fine,” said Lupita Nyong'o on Wednesday, January 5.
"Everyone, please keep yourself away from serious illnesses," she concluded with the hashtags mask and vaccinate.
As a result, Nyong'o canceled her attendance at the press conference for her latest film, The 355. Meanwhile, other actresses, namely Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan were confirmed to remain in attendance.
The 355 film has been delayed by a year from January 15, 2021, to January 14, 2022.
