Defeating Rayo Vallecano Through Angel Correa's Brace, Atlético Madrid Ended Episode Of 4 Defeat In A Row
JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid returned to winning ways after overcoming Rayo Vallecano 2-0 in their 19th La Liga match at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday night.

Atlético appeared to attack from the start of the match. In the 23rd minute, Luis Suarez failed to capitalize on a one-on-one opportunity with the opposing goalkeeper after his shot went wide of Rayo's goal.
The home team managed to open the scoring in the 28th minute. Angel Correa listed his name on the scoreboard through his shot from a tight angle after getting the ball gag from an opposing player. Atletico led 1-0 until halftime.
Atlético added to their lead after eight minutes of the second half. Correa scored again in front of the goal after receiving Thomas Lemar's low cross. Atlético led 2-0.
Atletico's two-goal advantage over Rayo lasted until the referee blew the long whistle to mark the end of the match.
