280 Joint Personnel Are Prepared To Guard Bogor Puncak Area For Christmas-New Year Holidays
BOGOR - A total of 280 joint personnel from the TNI, Polri, Transportation Service, and Satpol PP are on standby to guard the Christmas and New Year celebrations in the Puncak Area, Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java.
"To make the investigation a success, around 280 joint officers have been alerted until January 2, 2022," said Head of the Traffic Unit (Kasat Lalu) of the Bogor Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police Dicky Pranata in Cibinong, Bogor, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 21.
According to him, since Monday, December 20, the Bogor Police Satlantas has held a trial implementation of the odd-even system for vehicles heading to the Puncak area, Bogor Regency.
"Although the Nataru holiday (Christmas and New Year's) starts from December 24 to January 2, we will start testing from December 20, while continuing to evaluate," said Dicky.
He ensured that the blocking and inspection of vehicles were carried out for 24 hours, in order to prevent crowds from forming during the 2002 Christmas and New Year holidays, especially in tourist spots.
"The inspection includes the completeness of the health procedures, such as the use of masks, odd-even vehicles according to the date, to a vaccination letter or an application for protection," he said.

Previously, five police chiefs in the Puncak Raya area, West Java, set 25 checkpoints or checkpoints for vaccination certificates during the celebration of Christmas and New Year's 2022.

Harun said that from the meeting several traffic engineering scenarios were agreed, such as the odd-even system, counter-flow or counter-flow, to opening and closing lanes.
