Densus 88 Arrest 4 Suspected Terrorists In Batam
JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested 4 suspected terrorists in the Batam area. So, so far, 14 suspected terrorists have been arrested.
"It is true that Detachment 88 (Detachment 88) has arrested (suspected terrorists) 4 suspects of terrorism crimes," said Head of the Anti-Terrorism Detachment Section, Head of the National Police, Grand Commissioner Aswin Siregar when confirmed, Friday, December 17.
However, it has not yet detailed the identity and origin of the suspected terrorist network. The reason, until now they are still under investigation.
Just to emphasize, the 4 suspected terrorists were arrested Thursday, December 16.
"That's right (just arrested), further explanation via Public Relations Headquarters," said Aswin.

Previously, Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested 10 suspected terrorists. They were arrested in North Sumatra and South Sumatra.
"A total of 9 were arrested in North Sumatra," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan, when confirmed, Thursday, December 16.
The 9 suspected terrorists were arrested at different locations. Where, 7 of them were arrested in the areas of Langkat, Binjai, Belawan, and West Medan. While the remaining 2 were arrested in Tanjung Balai.
Then, Densus 88 Anti-terror also arrested one suspected terrorist in South Sumatra. However, the location for the arrest has not been disclosed.
"An additional terrorist suspect is arrested in South Sumatra," said Ramadhan.
