SAR Team Searches For Twin Toddlers Drowning In Dam River Stream
SELONG - The joint Basarnas team with BPBD officers and residents are searching for four-year-old twins, Delfa Azmi, who drowned in a river in Montong Beter Village, Sakra District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.
"Yes, it happened at 17.50 central Indonesia time, and a search is underway with the SAR team," said Head of the East Lombok Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Tony Satria Wibawa in Selong, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 13.
Based on information from the public, the unfortunate incident that happened to the victim and his twin brother Dalfi (4) began while playing at his grandmother's house and the two of them walked across a wooden bridge.
Then after a few minutes, the victim's grandmother saw the victim's sister sitting alone, so she immediately asked the victim's sister where her brother was.
"The victim's sister replied that her brother fell and was swept away by the Tibu Bele river, which is a watershed (DAS) of the Pandandure Dam," he said.

Then the victim's grandmother immediately shouted for help from local residents while searching for the victim, but could not be found.
"The victim has not been found, the search will continue tomorrow morning, because it is already too late," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Lotim Police, First Insp. Nicolas Oesman, confirmed that his party had received reports that a four-year-old child had fallen and was swept away by the current.
"The joint SAR team assisted by residents is currently continuing to search for the victim. Hopefully, the victim will be found soon," he said.
