Salute, MKGR Gives Scholarships For Students And Students Affected By The Eruption Of Mount Semeru

LUMAJANG - The MKGR mass organization, as one of the wing organizations of the Golkar Party, is moving to help victims of the natural disaster of the Mount Semeru eruption, Sunday, December 12 in Lumajang, East Java. The assistance handed over by the General Chair of MKGR, Adies Kadir, together with Meutya Hafid, Nurul Arifin, Dyah Roro Esti, and Purnomo Sidi from the Golkar Party faction immediately went to the field.

"This is a form of our follow-up to fulfill the call from the General Chair of Golkar, Airlangga Hartarto so that all Golkar elements help the victims of the Semeru disaster," said Adies Kadir.

Last week, shortly after the eruption of Mount Semeru, Airlangga immediately ordered all elements of the party to help the victims of the disaster. As a form of their concern for the affected residents, especially for the continuity of the education of children who are victims of the disaster, this organization distributed scholarship assistance to 5,000 students.

This scholarship is distributed through PIP (Smart Indonesia Program) for students from elementary, junior high, high school / equivalent levels. Then there is also KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) for 1000 students at universities from semester one to graduate S1.

"We hope that this scholarship assistance program can help the victims, especially in terms of education which will certainly help their lives become better later," said Adies Kadir.

Technically, this scholarship program is coordinated with the Chairman of the DPD MKGR Lumajang, Fudoli Sandra. The scholarship assistance was symbolically received by the Principal of SMPN 2 Pasirian Lumajang.

The MKGR delegation led by Adies Kadir himself immediately came to the school. To distribute aid directly and listen to the complaints of residents there. "They expect attention from the central government regarding relocation and assistance related to infrastructure, so that they can return to their activities," said Adies Kadir.

In addition to scholarship assistance, MKGR also provides assistance in the form of goods that are very urgent. Starting from food and drinks, to blankets for the refugees, there are quite a lot of them.

MKGR has always tried to appear as a leading organization in helping people who are experiencing difficulties or are affected by disasters. Early last week, Golkar's Yellow Clinic was also at the location affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru immediately help the victims.
