Grinding Machine Shorting, Three-Story House In Tambora Burnt

JAKARTA - A fire broke out in a three-story house on Sawalio Street RT 010/008, Jembatan Lima Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta.

"The initial suspicion was that the grinding machine had an electrical short which was placed on top of the sewing machine and forgot to remove it," said West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept Section Head, Sjukri Bahanan, Tuesday, December 7.

It is known that the burned area is about 2 meters x 2 meters. There were no casualties in the incident.

"Residents came to report the incident to the damkar post in Krendang. It has been extinguished by residents, officers are only taking data and making sure the situation is really safe and conducive," he said.
