PT Adhi Karya's Collapsed 96 High School Project In Jakarta, Done By PT Penta Rekayasa, DPRD Urges For Compensation
JAKARTA - Member of Commission E of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Ima Mahdiah, urged the construction contractor for the heavy rehabilitation of SMAN 96 School West Jakarta to compensate for the costs of the collapsed building.
In this case, the winner of the construction auction was won by PT Adhi Karya (Persero) and was sub-divided to PT Penta Rekayasa. The construction value is IDR 33 billion.
"The contractor must compensate according to the specifications submitted", Ima told reporters, Tuesday, November 23.
Ima also requested that the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) audit the financial statements of the construction of the SMA Negeri 96 School West Jakarta building, which was budgeted for IDR 33 billion.
"We from Commission E encourage all auction winners to be audited, the Education Office, to the DKI Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Service Agency", said Ima.

This, said Ima, was based on a review by Commission E of the DKI Regional House of Representatives to the location of a building in Cengkareng Timur Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, which collapsed during the heavy rehabilitation work.
Ima admitted that she suspected that there was a possibility that the school building would collapse due to a reduction in the specifications of building materials. Bearing in mind, this work was taken over by a construction company other than the winning bidder.
"If it's sub-divided, it will reduce the value even more. They will definitely reduce materials, reduce specifications. So, what we want to encourage an audit here is whether the construction is according to the study, according to the analysis of the building structure which has become a school building standard", said ima.
For information, the incident of the collapse of part of the SMA Negeri 96 School Jakarta building occurred on Wednesday, November 17 at 13.30 WIB. The incident resulted in 4 injured people, namely construction workers and currently handling Cengkareng Hospital.
