After Being Sworn In As KSAD, General Dudung Abdurachman Will Improve The Welfare Of Soldiers
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD), General Dudung Abdurachman, said he was ready to carry out President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) orders, one of which was to improve the welfare of soldiers.
This was conveyed by General Dudung after being sworn in as Army Chief of Staff to replace General Andika Perkasa, who currently sits as Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces.
Dudung said that after being sworn in, President Jokowi sent several messages to him. In addition to being asked to help implement government programs, the welfare of Army soldiers must also be increased from before.
"We Army is ready to help the government for the welfare of the people and all the people of Indonesia and the next message is how to improve the welfare of soldiers because soldiers are more important", said Dudung in a press statement after being sworn in at the State Palace, Wednesday, November 17.
In addition to carrying out the message, he is also ready to carry out other strategic things that have been pioneered by his predecessor, General Andika Perkasa, and carry out the vision and mission of the TNI Commander.
"I will certainly implement the vision and mission of the TNI Commander that was conveyed during the fit and proper test at the Indonesia House of Representatives", said Dudung.

Before ending his statement, Dudung asked the ranks of the Army to follow the mandatory guidelines of the TNI. He also asked his members to always be present in the community and help anyone in trouble.
"I convey to all ranks of the Army guiding the 8 mandatory TNI, especially the eighth by being an example and pioneering all efforts to overcome the difficulties of the people around them", he said.
"The Army must be present wherever there are difficulties suffered by the community", concluded Dudung.
