Recruitment Regulations Completed, Ex-KPK Employees: We Hope For The Best Scheme

JAKARTA - A former employee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still waiting for the finalization of recruitment as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the National Police. This was done after the legal basis for their placement was declared almost complete.

"We are still waiting for the ongoing process," said former KPK employee Giri Suprapdiono to reporters quoted on Wednesday, November 17.

He hopes that the legal basis will be the best scheme for the 57 former employees who were expelled from the anti-corruption commission due to the failure of the National Insight Test (TWK). Giri also wants strong regulations as a basis for recruitment so that the results are more optimal.

"We hope that there will be strong regulations and the best schemes, so that the results are optimal, because these 57 people have unique experience and expertise," he said.

In line with Giri, another former employee, Hotman Tambunan, also chose to wait and entrust this process entirely to the National Police, the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPANRB), and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

Previously reported, the National Police stated that the process of recruiting 57 former KPK employees to become ASN Bhayangkara Corps was almost complete and regulations had been made.

"The internal police are already in the process. Regulations have been made," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Tuesday, November 16.

In addition, regulations from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) related to recruitment have also been completed. In the near future, this matter will be officially conveyed by the RB Tjahjo Kumolo Kempan.

"In the near future, the Minister of Defense will convey. This is already in process," said Dedi.

The regulation in question relates to the placement of dozens of former KPK employees in accordance with their respective competencies. So, when you officially become a National Police ASN, there will be no problems in the future.

"In the future, there will be no more legal issues related to the issue of the employment status in question. Everything is being processed," said Dedi.
