Police Still Investigating Nigerian Citizen Who Was Killed At Kalideres Immigration Detention Center
JAKARTA - A Nigerian citizen (WN) with the initials KC (31) was found dead at the office of the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim), Kalideres, West Jakarta.
Kalideres Police Chief Commissioner Hasoloan Situmorang confirmed that a Nigerian citizen died at the Rudenim. Initially, the victim was reported to have fallen unconscious and was then taken to the Mitra Keluarga Hospital by the Rudenim.
"Initially, we received reports that the occupants were suspected of fainting and they evacuated them to Mitra Hospital. After that, medical treatment was carried out after which they were declared dead," said Commissioner Hasoloan when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday, November 10.
Until now, the cause of death of the victim has not been confirmed by the police. The case is still under investigation by the police.
Currently, his party is still conducting the crime scene (TKP) related to the case. From initial information, the victim has a history of heart disease, but his party is still waiting for the results of the investigation.

Furthermore, the Sector Police Chief said that the case is currently being assisted by the West Jakarta Metro Police. A number of witnesses have been questioned, including immigration officers who were there.
Meanwhile, the family, continued the police chief, asked for this case to be thoroughly investigated and sent the body to the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital (RSCM) for an autopsy.
"The case is still ongoing because it is together with the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Resort Police, because if it is a foreign citizen, the police will handle it," he said.
