JAKARTA - Head of the Expert Team for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, said that cinema managers outside Java-Bali are allowed to bring in spectators with a maximum capacity of 50 to 75 percent of the total capacity.
"For cinemas located in the orange zone, screening will be carried out using the PeduliLindung application, and only those with the green category can enter the cinema and have a maximum audience capacity of 50 percent," said Head of the Expert Team for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force Wiku Adisasmito when delivering a press statement. Wiku said the provision was contained in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 58 of 2021 regarding PPKM in the Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua regions.
For activities in restaurants and cafes in cinemas, said Wiku, they can serve dine-in and take-out orders with a maximum dining capacity of 50 percent and two people per table and adjust the health protocol guidelines from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenperakraf) and the Ministry of Industry. Health.
As for cinemas located in the yellow and green zones, said Wiku, screening is also carried out using the Pedulilindungi application and only those with the green category are allowed to enter and the maximum audience capacity is 75 percent.
"Children less than 12 years old can also enter with parental assistance," he said.

Wiku said that the Minister of Home Affairs' instructions also regulated several adjustments, including the addition of international travel entrances for Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign citizens (WNA) who use airplane transportation modes.
For this activity, the Government provides several entrances, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Riau Islands, and Sam Ratulangi Airport in North Sulawesi.
Regarding the implementation of PPKM levels 1 and 2, said Wiku, offices in the green zone can operate with the provisions of work from office (WFO) 75 percent and Work From Home (WFH) 25 percent.
Meanwhile, the regulation of the Java-Bali PPKM is currently still referring to the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 57 of 2021 which is valid until November 15, 2021.
"Furthermore, local governments must immediately translate the instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs into regulations that apply in their respective regions so that people can understand and comply with the latest policies," he said.
