Vanessa Angel's Deadly Accident, Sleepy Driver Swerving Left Hits Toll Road Barrier

JAKARTA - Artist Vanessa Angel aka Vannesa Adzania and husband, Febri Ardiansyah, died in an accident on the Nganjuk toll road from Jakarta to Surabaya, East Java. The cause of the accident is believed to be due to the driver falling asleep.

"Because the driver fell asleep, he swerved to the left and hit the left side of the toll road barrier", said Director of Traffic and Traffic at the East Java Police, Kombes Latif Usman, when confirmed, Thursday, November 4.

Because of the impact, Vannesa and her husband who was sitting on the left side of the car died. Meanwhile, three other passengers were injured.

"So the one who was seriously injured was on the left side, which happens to be the husband sitting in front and Vanessa behind him, so it got worse", said Latif.

But Latif has not been able to talk much about the accident, including the speed of the car at the time of the accident. So far, the police are still investigating.

"Don't look at the crime scene first, check the speed", said Latif.
