JAKARTA - Urip Arpan, an actor who bears a resemblance to Benjamin Sueb, died at his son's residence in the Depok area, West Java on Thursday, July 29. The comedian dies of a chronic stroke.

The news was confirmed by Urip's first son, Arief. "Yes, it's true that your father died. Because his condition has been declining for a long time. And yesterday afternoon I actually had you bathed because he had been living with me and I had taken care of him all this time. And he died because of a stroke, which has been going on for years. stroke in addition to several complications and also the age factor which is already old," said Arief when contacted by the media.

Before he died, Urip Arpan's condition had deteriorated and he had shortness of breath. "Indeed, his condition has deteriorated. So I still had time to take a bath this afternoon. Then after that, I thought about it, father," he explained.

Urip Arpan's body will be buried at the Kawi-kawi TPU for the Acceleration of the State in the Kramat Sentiong area, Central Jakarta today, Friday, July 30.
