147 Bottles Of Alcohol Confiscated From Two Cafes In Solo City

SURAKARTA - Two cafes on Jalan Gatot Subroto and Sriwedari, the city of Surakarta, were raided by the police for being caught selling liquor (alcohol). Cafe and recalcitrant stall owners sell alcohol even though they do not have a permit.

"Yes, we will act because the two cafes sell liquor without permission," said Head of Samapta Polresta Surakarta Kompol Arfian Riski Dwi Wibowo, representing the Surakarta Police Chief while leading the Razia activity.

"We carried out the raid because of the many reports and complaints from the public through the call center, that it was a place to buy liquor and alcohol parties and was very disturbing to local residents," he said.

"The identities of the liquor sellers that were secured by officers were GSK (28), a resident of Laweyan, who owns a cafe on Jalan Gatot Subroto Serengan and DP (45), a resident of Tanon Sragen, who owns a cafe in Sriwedari," he said.

Kasat Samapta added that the results of the raids at the two locations managed to confiscate 147 bottles of evidence from various brands. With details of 20 bottles of small star Beer, 17 bottles of large star Beer, 15 bottles of Kawa Kawa Kawa, 10 bottles of Canned Ameraja, 7 bottles of Anker pilsener, 30 bottles of White Horse, 10 bottles of Panther black beer, 16 bottles of Anker leci, 15 bottles of star beer, 4 large bottles of ciu, 2 bottles of small ciu and 1 bottle of mansion.

"Furthermore, the seller and evidence of alcohol were secured and taken to the Surakarta Police Headquarters to be followed up according to Tipiring's procedure," he said.
