JAKARTA - The chaos of the Tien En Tang Vihara in West Jakarta finally entered the court. During the trial at the West Jakarta District Court, the panel of judges listened to the testimony of the vihara management.

The lawyer for the complainant, Diantori, said that the purchase of land and the construction of the Tien En Tang Vihara were purely from the people collected.

"The proof is all witnesses. All (witnesses) are still alive and this witness will explain the incident slowly from the process of purchasing land to Developer Green Garden and until the construction process where all the funds were sourced 100 percent of the disbursement funds (regions)," said Diantori, Friday, November 17.

In his testimony, the witnesses explained about the plan for the construction of the Vihara which began in the early 2000s. After a long discussion, it was finally decided that the land in Green Garden Block 04 No. 16.

"After one year after the fundraising, build it little by little. All of that can be proven not only by testimony but also by photos during development," he said.

Meanwhile, Dharmawala Nusantara Dharmapola Chairperson Kevin Wu emphasized that his party would oversee this case. He explained that he paid attention after finding attacks on the management and destruction of the temple.

"We see ways of thuggery and we suspect there is also a mafia game there. A place of worship that is comfortable has been running for 20 years," he said.
