Police Check Video Of Acid Attack In Tebet Which Makes SMPN 265 Student's Eyes Red

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Police are investigating a suspected acid attack on a male student at SMPN 265. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 24 yesterday afternoon at 17.30 WIB on Asem Baris Raya Street, Kebon Baru, Tebet.

Ary emphasized that his party still needs to investigate the case and ensure that the victim makes a report.

Tebet Police Chief Chitya Intania ordered the Criminal Investigation unit to go to the crime scene (TKP) and check the condition of the victim at his house on Tuesday (24/1) evening.

"We advise the victim's parents to make a report to the Tebet Police for further investigation," said Chitya.

Based on information from the Instagram account @kabar_tebet, a video circulating of three people riding a motorcycle splashed liquid on two male students of SMPN 265 who were walking home from school in the Kebon Baru area on Tuesday (24/1) afternoon.

The SMPN 265 school teacher confirmed that the watering caused the eyes of class 7A student Fathir, a resident of Bukit Duri Tanjakan, to turn red.

It is not yet known what water was splashed on one of the students.
