Australian Caucasians Reportedly Robbed and Abused in Kuta Bali, Police Will Trace

DENPASAR - The Kuta Police, Badung, Bali will trace the news of an Australian citizen, Lachie, who was reported by foreign media as being robbed and abused in Kuta. The victim was reportedly battered and treated in the hospital.

"We will conduct an investigation related to the news", said the Head of Kuta Police, Commissioner Yogie Pramagita, Monday, January 23.

The police approached the victim to ask for information. But until now the victim has not been able to provide clarification regarding the incident of assault and robbery.

"We have visited them, (but) have not been able to provide information to us. So we don't know where the TKP is", he added.

Daily Mail reported that Australian citizens were robbed and abused in Kuta, Badung, Bali. The victim, who came from Perth, was reportedly raising money for hospital fees.

The victim has allegedly beaten up brutally at a tourist spot in Kuta some time ago.
