Cardano Interested In Cooperation With Kraken For Blockchain Layer 2 Development

JAKARTA - Kraken, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the US, is looking for blockchain technology partners to improve its technological capabilities. One of the potentially potential candidates is Cardano, a blockchain platform founded by Charles Hoskinson. This came to light after Hoskinson expressed interest in a recent X post.

This is in line with Kraken's plan to launch its own blockchain Layer 2 network, which is a network running over the main blockchain network (Layer 1) to increase transaction speed, scalability and efficiency.

This is a common trend among big crypto companies, as they want to provide better service to their customers. One of the crypto trading companies that launched this layer 2 network first was Coinbase.

In addition, this can also open up new income opportunities for crypto companies. However, to do so, Kraken needs help from experienced and trusted blockchain developers. One of those who responded to this plan was Cardano.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson expressed interest in an X social media post, "I'll play if you too."

Cardano is a blockchain platform that offers advanced features such as smart contracts, digital identities, and decentralized governance. Cardano is also one of the largest crypto projects in the world, with a market capitalization of more than $50 billion.

If Cardano succeeds in becoming Kraken's partner, this will be a lucrative partnership for both sides. Kraken will gain access to Cardano's proven reliable blockchain technology, while Cardano will gain access to Kraken's extensive subscribers and networks. This collaboration will also increase Cardano's adoption and recognition in the crypto market.

Even so, the final decision on who is his partner for this project is in the hands of Kraken. Because Kraken has a number of offers to choose apart from Cardano. On the other hand, Cardano also still has competitors in the development of layer 2 networks such as Polygon, Matter Labs, and many more.
