JAKARTA - Google recently introduced the Pixel Watch2 in New York. This latest smartwatch has received a lot of attention due to a number of improvements from the previous series.

Google did increase the specifications of the Pixel Watch 2, but this increase didn't just stay there. Quoted from 9to5google, this latest smartwatch model cannot use a case or protector of the regular Pixel Watch.

This news may disappoint many parties who have switched from the regular Pixel Watch to the Pixel Watch 2. The reason is, Pixel Watch users have to spend more money just to buy a watch protector.

At first glance, the two Pixel watches did not have much change. The model is almost identical to the same size. One of the changes that makes ordinary Pixel Watch protectors unable to fit into Pixel Watch 2 is the crown part.

The crown, which is the Pixel Watch button, is on the edge of the clock. When compared between the regular Pixel Watch and the Pixel Watch 2, this crown looks bigger in the latest Pixel Watch series.

In addition to the crown section, the side for the microphone looks smaller on the Pixel Watch 2. Thanks to some of these minor changes, casePixel Watch can no longer be used in the latest series.

If you want to buy a case for Pixel Watch 2, it's a good idea to wait and not rush. Usually Pixel Watch will be sworn in faster so you can buy after the watch is in hand.
