For example, users can ask Bard to search for their files on Google Drive or provide a summary of the user's Gmail inbox. "For now, Bard users can only withdraw information from the Google app, but Google is working with external companies to connect their apps to Bard in the future," said Jack Krawczyk, senior Google product director.

One of the new features on Bard aims to address problems that often arise in generative artificial intelligence: an inaccurate answer known as "hallusination". Bard users will be able to see which part of Bard's answer is different from and agrees with Google's search results.

"We present it (Bard) in a way that recognizes uncertainty," Krawczyk said. He explained that his intention was to build user confidence in artificial intelligence generatively through Bard's accountability.
