Netanyahu Urges Elon Musk To Overcome Antisemitism Problems On X

JAKARTA - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Elon Musk to address antisemitism issues on X, Twitter previously, by creating boundaries between free speech and hate speech.

As reported by Reuters, Netanyahu urged Musk on Monday, September 18 after the problem of antisemitism on platform X became increasingly inflamed.

"I hope you find within the boundaries of the First Amendment, the ability to stop not only antisemitism... but any collective hatred for people," Netanyahu said during a face-to-face meeting with Musk.

Netanyahu believes that Musk will take appropriate steps to stop the antisemitism problem on X so he continues to encourage Musk to act immediately.

Musk responded that he agreed to fight antisemistism. At the meeting, Musk also stressed that he is not an antisemitism as the Israeli government has accused him of.

"Of course I oppose antisemitism. I oppose anything that promotes hatred and conflict," Musk explained to Netanyahu.

Elon Musk insists that he will not stand still if anyone promotes hatred and conflict on X because the platform should be a good forum for its users in discussing and sharing various perspectives of mind without violating policies.
