Comparing the iPhone 15 Pro with the Galaxy X Flip 5, Which is Better?

JAKARTA – Apple recently officially launched one of the newest iPhone series, namely the iPhone 15 Pro, with various upgraded features from the previous iPhone series.

Reporting from Makeuseof, the iPhone 15 Pro apparently has the same price as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 which Samsung released last July. Both are priced at 999 US dollars or the equivalent of IDR 15.3 million.

With the same price, of course some parties are starting to compare the two. In terms of body, the iPhone 15 Pro is shorter and thicker, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has the advantage of being folded in half.

In terms of water and dust resistance, the iPhone is superior because it has an IP68 rating, while the Samsung cellphone only has an IPX8 rating, which means it has no dust resistance.

On the screen display, the iPhone uses Super Retina XDR OLED with a resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels. Meanwhile, the Flip 5 has a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels with a Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen.

For the camera, the iPhone 15 Pro is superior with a 48 MP rear camera and a 12 MP rear camera because the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 12 MP rear camera and a 10 MP front camera.

The iPhone 15 Pro uses the A17 Pro chip with a claimed 10 percent faster CPU performance. Even though the Galaxy Z Flip 5 uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, its performance is said to not be very fast.

Regarding RAM requirements, both have the same amount of RAM, namely 8 GB. However, in terms of storage, the iPhone has more variants compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 which is limited to 256 GB and 512 GB.

Finally, in the battery comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro uses a 3650 mAh battery. This figure is relatively smaller, but can provide better endurance compared to the 3700 mAh battery of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
