Meta Quest Update Brings Message Cancellation Features, Avatar Customization, and Much More

JAKARTA - Meta is bringing several updates that will be rolled out in stages to its VR device Meta Quest v57, including the “unsend” message feature on the platform, and much more.

Message Cancellation Feature

The first update is a way to cancel sending image messages in VR and Meta Quest mobile apps in Australia, Canada, Iceland, New Zealand, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United States.

Introducing the New Horizon Feed

If you play Meta Quest, surely you know that in Meta Horizon you will find profile, home, group, and world tabs. With this update, you will now see the Horizon Feed.

In Horizon Feed, you can find content relevant to your interests and passions, and also find new content to explore in Feed, from games, apps, and Reels.

Avatar Details Update

With the v57 update, Meta is also rolling out a new update to avatars, where Mark Zuckerberg's company will help users bring more life to their avatars.

Now, you can fine-tune things like hair and eyebrow color, adjust skin tones more accurately, add makeup, and make your VR persona look more like your real-world self.

"Please note that you may not see these changes right away. We're rolling out Feeds gradually across Quest headsets, followed by the Meta Quest mobile app," Meta wrote.
