India Anticipates Chandrayaan-3 Landing On The Moon, After Russia's Luna-25 Mission Fails!

JAKARTA - After news of the Russian spacecraft, Luna-25 failed on a mission, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) immediately reported Chandrayan-3's condition on its way to the Moon.

The spacecraft looks better. All systems on Chandrayaan-3, according to ISRO, are working perfectly and there is no possibility of anticipating a landing day, which will take place on Wednesday tomorrow.

Through his X account, ISRO shared news regarding Chandrayaan-3's condition, as well as showing an image captured by the spacecraft.

The image was captured on a mission to help find a safe landing site for the spacecraft.

"The Chandrayaan-3: mission follows an image from the far side of the Moon captured by the Lander Hazard Detection and Avoidance Camera (LHDAC)," tweeted @ISRO.

"A camera that helps find a safe landing area -- without a large rock or deep ditch -- during this decline was developed by ISRO at SAC sec.gov.in," he added.

The mission, which was launched on July 14, will head for the same south pole of the moon as Luna-25 if it does not experience a mission failure.

The region is believed to be full of water ice in which it can supply fuel, oxygen, and drinking water for future missions, as quoted by ABC, Tuesday, August 22.
