New Zealand is a contestant for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia after appearing as the 2023 Oceania U-17 Cup champion. New Zealand will go through the Group F preliminary match with Venezuela, Germany, and Mexico.

In Indonesia, New Zealand has a target towards the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup with achievements surpassing the last 16 for the first time in the tournament.

This hope begins with the match on November 12, 2023 when they host New Zealand at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung. Then continued the second match on November 15, 2023, by hosting Germany with a kickoff schedule of 19:00 WIB.
