FIFA U-17 World Cup Participants Profile 2023: United States, New History Aligned Brazil

JAKARTA - The United States has set a record with its 18th appearance at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup which was held in Indonesia. Now, the US has created history after making the most records in the U17 World Cup with Brazil.

The United States U-17 national team qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup after becoming runners-up in the CONCACAF U-17 2023 championship. After beating Canada 2-0 in the top four, the U-17 United States move finally in the top match. They lost to the King of CONCACAF, Mexico with a score of 3-1.

At the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup, the United States is in Group E along with South Korea, Burkina Faso, and France.

The three group stage matches played by the United States will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium. On November 12, 2023, the United States began its journey at the U-17 World Cup at the South Korean home.

Three days later the United States will host Burkina Faso in the same place, kickoff starts at 16.00 WIB.

The third match of the group stage will be held by the United States by hosting France at the Jakarta International Stadium on November 18, 2023 starting at 19.00 WIB.

In Indonesia, the United States is led by coach Gonzalo Segares, a former defensive player who spent most of his professional football career with Chicago Fire. The coach with the Kostarika passport has 19 caps with the Kostarika national team.

Keyrol currently plays for Liverpool's U-18 team. In the U-17 national team, Keyrol became one of the players with the most prominent talent.

Keyrol has scored seven goals in seven CONCACAF championship games. A record that only Mexican player Stephano Carrillo can match.

At the Indonesia U-17 World Cup, Keyrol will prove his sharpness again to compete with Group E.
