Asian Para Games Medals 2023: Indonesia Has 2 Golds, 2 Silvers And 5 Bronzes

JAKARTA The Indonesian contingent currently has nine medals at the 2023 Asian Para Games Hangzhou. Two of them are gold medals.

Indonesia won the first gold medal through Sapto Yogo Purnomo's achievement from the men's 400 meters T37.

He became the best to beat Apisit Taprom from Thailand who won silver and Thamer Ahmed Y Alzaharani from Saudi Arabia who was bronze red.

Meanwhile, the second gold was obtained by the Indonesian contingent through athlete Maulana Rifky Yavianda. He became the best in the men's 100-meter backstroke swimming sport.

Maulana recorded a time of 1 minute 03.55 seconds. This time record is also a new record in APG and at the Asian level.

Then two silver medals have been collected by the Indonesian contingent so far, one of which is from Suparni Yati from the women's shot put F20. This is Indonesia's first medal at this year's Asian Games.

Another silver medal was presented by Sri Sugiyanti from the sport of the bicycle number Women's B 3000 meters individual pursuit.

Then the five bronze medals that Indonesia currently collects are from Fauzi Purwalaksono (men's javelin throw F57) and Nurfendi (bicycles men's B 4000 meters individual pursuit).

And three others from Habib Shaleh/Sufyan Saori/M. Fadli from mixed bicycles C1-5 750 meters team sprint, Novia Larasati (blind judo women -48 kg J1), and Junaedi (blind judo men -60 kg J1).
