Juventus Only Draw Against Atalanta, Allegri's Statement Makes Tifosi Emotions

JAKARTA - Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said he was satisfied with the draw against Atalanta in the Italian Serie A competition. However, he made emotions and was disappointed by his tifosi for saying Juve had no ambition to become a league champion.

Juve almost lost the duel against Atalanta before picking up a 0-0 draw in a duel at Gewiss Stadium, Sunday, October 1. Juve's success in winning a point at home to the opponent was inseparable from the glory of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. He made a number of saves that made Juve not conceded.

Responding to Bianconeri's achievements, Allegri said he was satisfied with 'the results and the team's performance'. It's just that he thinks Juve should be able to reap better results.

"I'm satisfied with the team's results and performances. We should have been able to get better results in the first half, but I think the players have done their best. The players are also solid," said Allegri.

If Allegri is satisfied, on the other hand fans feel disappointed because Juve's performance is considered very bad. What made fans emotional, the team defended more in that match.

Evidently, Juve only had two chances of scoring. On the other hand, Atalanta had eight with 15 shots into the net. Meanwhile, Juve only made five shots into the net.

Disappointed with Allegri's statement, fans also mentioned the statement from the legend Juve Giorgio Chiellini that the draw for Juve was like a defeat. Chiellini himself quoted a statement from the legendary captain of The Old Lady, Alessandro del Piero.

"Once when he drew 0-0 against Milan, Alex [Delta Piero] was so disappointed that he kicked anything. We couldn't enjoy playing a draw. Because the draw for Juventus was a defeat. Put it in your mind," Chiellini quoted on Twitter.

Atalanta's draw made the hashtag #Allegriout trend. Moreover, Allegri has no ambition to bring Juve to the Scudetto. Allegri only targets Juve to finish in fourth place. At least, Juve can return to compete in the Champions League.

According to Allegri, Juve is still difficult to compete with Napoli, AC Milan and Inter Milan who are at different levels. Some think Allegri is realistic. On the other hand, others considered the coach to be a coward.

Juve themselves were ranked fourth with 14 points after drawing against Atalanta. They are four points adrift of Inter and Milan who are ranked first and second in the standings.
