3 Clubs Have Ensured To Escape The Champions League Group Phase Through The Qualification Line, Who Will Follow?

JAKARTA - Three teams managed to make sure they qualified for the 2023/2024 Champions League group stage. Galatasaray, Braga and Young Boys stepped into the main round after winning the second leg of the qualifiers which took place Wednesday, August 30 in the morning WIB,

Galatasaray became Turkey's representative in the group phase after defeating Molde who was Norway's representative. Galatasaray's 2-1 final score in the match at NEF Stadyumu, Turkey this morning WIB.

The victory also made Galatasaray lead 5-3 on aggregate from their opponent.

Not wanting to lose, Braga also followed Galatasaray to the main round of the 2023/2024 Champions League. This certainty was secured after the Portuguese team narrowly won over the Greek representative, Panathinaikos 1-0.

The next team that made sure to qualify for the main round of the 2023/2024 Champions League was Young Boys. This Swiss representative won 3-0 over Maccabi Haifa.

Previously in the first leg, Young Boys and Maccabi played fiercely. Both teams ended the match with a score of 0-0, so this victory was certain to pass Young Boys because they were 3-0 on aggregate.

The victory of the three teams in the second leg qualifiers killed them to join teams who immediately qualified for the 2023/2024 Champions League main round. Meanwhile, the three losing teams will fill the slot to appear in the 2023/2024 Europa League.

It's not just Galatasaray, Braga and Young Boys that will enliven the competition in the first team, because on Thursday 31 August there are still six teams that will compete to complete the final slot.

After 32 Champions League participants are complete, the draw for the group stage will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023.
