League 1 2023/2024 Results: Bali United's Perfect Comeback Makes Arema Not Move

GIANYAR - Bali United successfully proved their toughness when they played the match against Arema FC in the 4th week of Liga 1 2023/2024. Having been left behind in the first half, Bali United then made a comeback in the second half.

Even though Arema acted as the host in this match, in fact the match was held at I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar Bali on Friday, July 21 evening WIB. For Bali United, this away match is like a home match.

This status is actually beneficial for Serdadu Tridatu, who understands the stadium's topography very well. The fight between Arema versus Bali United was even fierce since the first minute through buying and selling attacks that presented dangerous opportunities.

However, Arema FC managed to secure the advantage first in the 13th minute. Singo Edan's opener was created through Gustavo Almeida's header.

The situation fell behind, making Bali United immediately increase the intensity of the attack. M Rahmat almost equalized the score in the 23rd minute, but unfortunately his header still hit the post.

Bali United's efforts to break into the opponent's goal only paid off in the 35th minute. This time through the execution of Elias Dolah who then successfully scored a goal to 1-1. The score lasted until the whistle sounded at halftime.

After the break, the competition is heating up because both teams have a chance to add goals. Bali United's efforts bore fruit in the 65th minute through Ricky Fajrin's action.

Starting from a dead ball situation, causing chaos in the penalty box, an ideal sweep of Arema players made a wild ball rolling in front of the penalty box. Ricky Fajrin, who was in the ideal position, immediately grabbed the ball with a left foot shot.

The ball nestled into the left corner of the goal and made Serdadu Tridatu turn 2-1 up.

It didn't take long for Ricky Fajrin to become a scourge for Arema goalkeeper, Teguh Amirudin. Only four minutes later Fajrin scored again and made the position 3-1 with a low kick from outside the penalty box.

Arema almost reduced the position through Gustavo Almeida in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, Napoleono's strong header was countered by Adilson Maringa brilliantly.

Ahead of the final minute, Arema continued to press but not a single goal was created. Bali United also managed to maintain a 3-1 advantage until the game was over.

This result made Bali United move up to sixth in the standings with six points. While Arema slumped in 17th place.
