Offered A Salary At Inter Milan Small, Edin Dzeko Chooses To Move To Turkey

JAKARTA - Bosnian player Herzegovina, Edin Dzeko, decided to move to the Turkish League club, Fenerbahce from Inter Milan. This decision was allegedly due to lower salary offers at Inter.

"Dzeko's move has been officially announced by Fenerbahce via their official Twitter account, Thursday, June 22. World famous journalist Edin Dzeko came to Istanbul to conduct health checks and complete transfer negotiations. We will introduce it to the public. We will introduce it to the public," Fenerbahce wrote on their official Twitter account, reported via Antara. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported, Dzeko joined for free from Inter Milan. The player's contract expires at the end of this month. Dzeko reportedly earned a contract until 2025 and earned a salary of 4 million euros (around Rp65.7 billion) and a bonus of one million euros (Rp16.4 billion). I Nerazzurri reportedly still wants to extend the contract of the 37-year-old striker, but with a smaller salary, which Dzeko rejected. Dzeko came to Inter Milan from AS Roma in the summer of 2021. During his two seasons with I Nerazzurri, Dzeko was still able to play 101 times and scored 31 goals. He managed to bring I Nerazzzuri to win two titles of the Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups. This season Dzeko also managed to bring Inter qualify until the Champions League final where he managed to score 4 goals in the competition.
