Honda Akan Hadirkan Kembaran HR-V Untuk Pasar India

JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Japan, Honda announced that it will soon launch its newest SUV, Elevate for the Indian market.

Quoted from Autocar India, Wednesday, May 3, the car offers a wide dimension of 4.2 to 4.3 meters. Later, the SUV will share chassis with the fifth-generation City model sold on the Indian market.

Although Honda has not announced details regarding the specifications of the car, the manufacturer will embed a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine that can produce 121 dk and a 145 Nm torque.

Honda will also provide an option on the transmission system, namely manual six acceleration and CVT. The possibility of this latest SUV carrying hybrid technology.

Some time ago, Honda was caught on camera testing Elevation directly on the highway. Even though it is covered in camouflage stickers, the design will likely not be much different from HR-V or BR-V.

It is planned that Elvenate's sales will begin in August and India will become the basis for Elevate's exports in the future.

With Eleve's presence, of course Honda will shake the dominance of Maruti Suzuki in the automotive industry in India. Honda has also offered several models such as the fifth generation City, City e: HEV, and Amaze in the country.
