Held For The First Time In Bandung, GIIAS The Series Presents The Latest Technological Innovation

JAKARTA - GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series 2023 will be held for the first time in Bandung City, West Java. This automotive exhibition will last for five days, from November 22 to 26, 2023, at Sudirman Grand Ballroom.

GIIAS Bandung is expected to become a platform to introduce the latest developments in the automotive industry to the people of West Java.

Kukuh Kumara, General Secretary of GAIKINDO, stated that GIIAS Bandung 2023 has significant growth potential, given the rapid development of the automotive industry in West Java.

"Although West Java's position in the national motor vehicle industry has been very good, we believe that its potential can still be increased. GIIAS Bandung will be an important event for the Indonesian automotive industry, introducing the latest models and technology to the people of West Java," he said in an official statement received by VOI, Thursday, November 16.

West Java has an important role in the national automotive industry, with a market share of 15.6 percent of national motorized vehicles coming from this province, occupying second position nationally in the January-August 2023 period.

GIIAS Bandung is expected to fulfill public curiosity about innovation in the motor vehicle industry without having to travel long distances to Jakarta. Kukuh emphasized that the success of this event could not be separated from the support of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, the regional government of West Java, especially the Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) West Java.

"The first time it was held in Bandung City, GIIAS will display the latest technology and products from 15 passenger vehicle brands and 3 well-known motorcycle brands, as well as various automotive support industries," added Kukuh.

At its inaugural event, GIIAS Bandung 2023 will feature the latest technology and products from 15 passenger vehicle brands, such as Audi, Chery, Daihatsu, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Seres, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Wuling. Meanwhile, three motorcycle brands, namely Benelli, Keeway, and Royal Enfield, also participated, along with various automotive support industries.

With the presence of the latest variety of motorized vehicles from leading automotive manufacturers, the people of West Java are expected to be able to experience firsthand the advanced and innovative technology offered by the participants. In addition to the vehicle exhibition, GIIAS Bandung will also host various special events and programs throughout the event, including test drive activities, music entertainment on stage, community events, Education Day to provide education about automotive industry technology to high school students, and Community Gathering "Rolling Thunder with Influencer."

GIIAS Bandung will open every day from Wednesday, November 22, 2023, to Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 11.00-21.00 WIB on weekdays (Wednesday-Friday), and 10.00-21.00 WIB on holidays (Saturday-Sunday) at Sudirman Grand Ballroom. GIIAS Bandung entrance tickets can be purchased online through the Auto360 application, or visitors can also purchase tickets directly at the ticket counter at the exhibition area.

The price of GIIAS Bandung entrance tickets online on weekdays (Wednesday-Friday) is Rp. 15,000 and on holidays (Saturday-Sunday) is Rp. 25,000. Meanwhile, for onsite ticket purchases in exhibition areas on weekdays (Wednesday-Friday) it is Rp. 20,000 and on holidays (Saturday-Sunday) it is Rp. 30,000.
