Neta, A New Brand From China Will Start Its Debut At GIIAS 2023

JAKARTA - Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, the annual automotive event in Indonesia, will hold its 30th event. Various automotive manufacturers participated in the exhibition.

Of the 49 participating vehicle brands, there are 34 four-wheeled automotive brands such as Audi, BMW, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, DFSK, GWM Tank, Haval, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Maxus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi Motors, Neta, Nissan, Ora, Porsche, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Wuling.

In addition, there are five other brands that are commercial vehicle makers, namely Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, Commercial Toyota, and UD Trucks.

Among these manufacturers, there is a new brand from China called Neta. This brand is under the auspices ofbolon Auto and will make its debut in GIIAS 2023 which will be held at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

Neta will be present at GIIAS 2023 with a simple theme, namely "Hallo Indonesia, This is Neta" as their introduction to the Indonesian automotive industry.

Representative from Neta Indonesia, Yusuf Anshori, said that they would introduce several vehicles to visitors to attract potential consumers.

"At GIIAS 2023, we will display five to six vehicles," said Anshori at a media conference at JW Marriott, Jakarta, Thursday, July 13.

In addition to providing six cars at their booths, Neta will also open a "Neta Corner" that provides knowledge and information about the manufacturer to GIIAS 2023 visitors.

Neta's existence in Indonesia is in line with the company's global plan to expand its market. Currently, Horon Auto is building a factory facility in Bangkok, Thailand, which is scheduled to operate at the end of January 2024.

Neta has produced several models such as a compact SUV called U, an SUV subcompact called V, a sedan called S, and a sports car called GT.

Although new in the global automotive industry, Neta under Horon Auto has recorded sales of 152,073 units worldwide by 2022. This figure has experienced a significant increase compared to 2021 which reached 69,674 units.
