Death Toll In Gaza Reaches 12,000 People

JAKARTA - Palestinians who died as a result of Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip reached more than 12,000 people, according to state media offices in the enclave, Friday (17/11).

"The victims included more than 5,000 children and 3,300 women, while another 30,000 were injured," he said as quoted by ANTARA from Anadolu, Saturday, November 18.

It was also stated that around 3,750 other people, including 1,800 children, had not yet been found.

The Israeli occupation has carried out 1,270 massacres, the media office said.

He added that as many as 200 medics, 22 civil defense personnel and 51 journalists were also killed in Israel's attack on Gaza.

Israel's aggression has forced 25 hospitals and 52 health care centers to close, while 55 ambulances are targeted by Israeli troops, the statement reads.

Until now, Israeli forces are still bombarding the Gaza Strip by land and air since the cross-border attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on October 7.

Thousands of buildings such as hospitals, mosques and churches were damaged or even destroyed by Israeli attacks.

Meanwhile, the death toll on the Israeli side reached 1,200 people, according to official data.
