'Sing' Convicted Of Bribery DJKA Regarding Project Broker Entrepreneurs Claimed To Know The Minister Of Transportation And Members Of The DPR

The convict in the project bribery case at the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation, Dion Renato Sugiarto, revealed that a number of project brokers who could help get a job were called 'ulangan.' "'Langitan' is a term for people who can help get projects at DJKA," Dion said at the Semarang Corruption Court hearing as reported by Antara, Thursday, November 16. Dion was examined in his capacity as a witness to the alleged bribery of DJKA officials with the defendant Head of the Central Java Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Putu Sumarjaya and the Central Java BTP commitment maker Bernard Hasibuan. Some of the names mentioned by the President Director of PT Istana Putra Agung are like businessman Billy Haryanto alias Billy Beras who claimed to know the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi. Then Agus Kuncoro, who is known as a close person to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation, Ibnu and Edi Amir, admitted that he was close to the Minister of Transportation. The witness also mentioned the name Sudewo, who is a member of Commission V of the DPR and businessman Muhammad Suryo, who was introduced by the former Director of Infrastructure DJKA of the Ministry of Transportation as a party of the police. The name Wahyu Purwanto, whom he knows as the brother-in-law of President Joko Widodo and the Commissioner of PT PLN Eko Sulistyo, is said to have a close relationship with the Minister of Transportation and is related to the elevated KA doubles line project between Solo Balapan-Kadipiro KM 104+900 to KM 106+900 (JGSS 4). "For Mr. Wahyu, I have never worked together directly," he said under oath at the trial chaired by the Judge Gatot Sarwadi. Meanwhile, against the two defendants, Dion admitted to giving a sum of money which was a fee for the project he was working on in Central Java. He said the fee was taken from 10 to 12 percent of the project budget he was working on. To the defendant Bernard Hasibuan, Dion gave a total of IDR 5.1 billion from the work on the double train line between Solo Balapan-Kadipiro-Kalioso KM 96+400 to KM 104+900 (JGSS 6). He also mentioned that there were other gifts, such as Rp. 100 million for the implementation of the recitation which presented Gus Miftah, according to Bernard Hasibuan's instructions.

As for the defendant Putu Sumarjaya, Dion said he gave money of Rp. 50 million each month for 12 months. The money, he continued, was a fee originating from the JGSS 4 job.
