Here's Gibran's Response After Sungkem Megawati

Surakarta Mayor and vice presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Gibran Rakabuming Raka met PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and high-ranking bull parties at the Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) Building in Jakarta, Tuesday night.

Gibran also said it was his first meeting with the end of no longer being a party cadre.

"What is clear is that he (Megawati) is a person whom I respect, the person who was the most chaired at yesterday's event. Automatically I have to sing and greet him, including Kaesang Pangarep's younger brother. Mr. Hasto (Kristiyanto), all the leaders (party), it's been a long time (I) haven't met him," said Gibran in Solo, Wednesday, November 15.

Meanwhile, regarding the discussion he had with PDI Perjuangan presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo, Gibran was reluctant to convey further. However, he said the atmosphere during the meeting at the KPU RI Building was warm.

"Later, yes, what is clear is that we came to the KPU yesterday, before the draw, we also ate together. The atmosphere was warm there," said Gibran.

Gibran also responded that all numbers had a good meaning in response after the draw for the serial number for the 2024 presidential election participants.

"All numbers are good. All numbers have a good meaning. Don't worry," said Gibran.

Regarding candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka getting serial number 2, Gibran admitted that he did not have any feelings.

"There is no inkling," said the eldest son of President Joko Widodo.

In the 2024 presidential election, participants of candidate pair (paslon) Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar received serial number 1, candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka received serial number 2, and candidate pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD received serial number 3.
