BKN Ensures CASN Resigns After Passing Can't Take Next Period Exams

The State Civil Service Agency (BKN) has confirmed that prospective state civil servants (CASN) who resigned after passing cannot participate in the selection for the next period.

"If he resigns after passing, he will be 'locked up' for the next period," said Intermediate Expert Planner of the Planning and Organization Bureau of the State Civil Service Agency Achmad Yusaq in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 13.

This was conveyed in relation to 1,921 CASN selection participants who withdrew in 2022. Yusaq admitted that he had not yet received data on whether participants who were delayed the previous year returned to participate in CASN 2023.

"We can't see what happened yesterday, whether we will participate in the CASN selection again because we have to juxtapose the data first," he said.

According to him, to find out for sure whether the participants who withdrew returned to the selection or not, it could be seen in each proposed institution.

"So yesterday it was accepted back and forth or not this year, so it depends on the administration in each institution," he said.

Achmad suspects that 1,921 ASN candidates who have resigned are because at the same time they also get better job offers than being ASN.

Finally, Achmad also appealed to every CASN 2023 participant who took part in the selection to never trust any party that offers or promises graduation.

"The public can monitor the progress of the results of the examination participants directly through the screen prepared at the CBT Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University," he said.

Especially in the West Sumatra region, the CASN Basic Competency Selection (SKD) test involved six agencies. The six are Andalas University, Padang State University, Padang Panjang Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), Padang State Polytechnic, Payakumbuh State Agriculture Polytechnic, and LLDikti Region X.
