Mario Dandy And His Brother Will Witness At The Rafael Square Session Today

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will present the children of former officials of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Rafael Alun Trisambodo, Mario Dandy and Angelina Embun Prasasya at trial today, Monday, October 6.

Both will witness the alleged gratification and money laundering (TPPU) that ensnared Rafael. The trial was held at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus).

"To prove the description of his indictment in the case of the defendant Rafael Alun, the KPK Prosecutor's Team will present witnesses as follows by Mario Dandy and Angelina Embun Prasasya," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, November 6.

Apart from Rafael's two children, another witness presented by the KPK prosecutor was Ikhfa Fauziah. He is an Accounting for Equity Coffee.

As previously reported, the prosecutor charged Rafael Alun Trisambodo with receiving gratuities worth Rp. 16.6 billion. He is suspected of having received with his wife, Ernie Meike Torondek.

"The defendant together with Ernie Meike Torondek gradually from May 15, 2002 to March 2013, received gratuities in the form of money, a total of Rp. 16,644,806,137," said KPK prosecutor Wawan Yunarwanto at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 30.

In addition, Rafael and his wife were also charged with money laundering (TPPU) with a value of Rp. 100 billion.
