Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bapilu) PPP Sandiaga Salahudin Uno said PPP does not yet have a seat in the Semarang City DPRD.
"The target in Semarang is six seats," said the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy during a visit in Semarang, Antara, Friday, November 3.
Sandiaga also asked prospective legislative members to answer various public complaints, ranging from economic conditions, employment opportunities, to basic material prices.
Regarding the winning presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md, he stated that PPP is ready to try to increase the pair's votes in the 2024 election.
Semarang City is one of the supporting bases for the Ganjar-Mahfud pair. PPP, he said, is ready to fight together so that the party's acquisition also increases so that it can get seats in the Semarang City DPRD.
"We collaborated in one unit to support Ganjar and Mahfud's victory," he said.
Nationally, he continued, PPP is targeting the acquisition of around 11 million votes in the 2024 General Election.
