JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said his party would immediately evaluate the single salt scheme being piloted at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK).
"KPK and PPATK are pilot projects regarding single salaries and the KPK is the best pilot project, but after we see this, the single salt model is good or it is possible to improve performance in other institutions, we will still evaluate it," said Azwar Anas at the KPK's Red and White building, South Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 31.
Azwar conveyed that one of the points of concern in the evaluation was the supervisory function of the performance of each state civil apparatus (ASN).
"If later the salt is the same as those who don't work, it's a hassle. So while the monitoring level needs to be strengthened in each ministry and institution," he said.
However, Azwar has not provided further information regarding when the results of the evaluation will be submitted to the public.
Azwar said he visited the KPK in the context of launching the core value or the basic value that must be owned by ASN, namely BER-AKHLAK.
"Earlier, the launching of the BERAKHLAK core value. Now we have a core value oriented to BE AKHLAK, so it becomes an accountable service and others and today is launching at the KPK institution," he said.

The application of the core value of AKHLAK is carried out in order to strengthen the work culture and image of the institution, and in the new State Civil Apparatus Bill (ASN), the core value will be simulated so that it is easy to operate, easy to understand, and applies equally to any agency.
